The resurrection, re-construction and restoration of the latest 90” FW-190 is now complete. Here are some pictures so you can follow along through the process of its resurrection, restoration and return to flight. Be sure to view all parts. Part 1 is the re-construction, part 2 is the re-finishing process and part 3 is the return to flight story..... (please allow some time for each part to load. Part 3 has some high resolution pictures and may take a while to load. Enjoy)
My newest project that is underway is a Fairy Firefly. I have been working on this project on-and-off for more then the past five or six years. The prototype drawings are complete for both the airframe and the scale retracts. All wood has been cut into a “kit” and construction has started. I'll post some pictures soon.... Most of the retract parts are machined and await the framed out wing for trial fitting of an assembled main retract unit. This project has been put on hold while the rebuild of the FW-190 took place. Now that the FW-190 is complete and “back on the circuit” the Firefly has once again moved back onto the building table. Once the prototype has been completed and flown, plans and parts will become available. For the latest pictures..... Check out the Firefly Construction page.

New Product announcement
Vailly Aviation is proud to announce that we have upgraded all our fiberglass parts for our current line of planes. We have moved all our fiberglass manufacturing to a professional supply house that has been in the business since 1963. What this means to our customers is better quality control and more importantly better availability. We will now be able to fabricate our fiberglass fuselages for the P-47 and the FW-190 on a much shorter turn around time. No more 6 to 8 week waits (or longer)…. All parts will be carried as “off the shelf” items and will be able to be shipped within more reasonable turn around times. Typical turn around time for fuselages is two weeks. We will also be adding more accessories for some of our planes such as two different gun hoods ( A-5 and A-8 versions) for the 90 inch FW-190.
